Madhuri Dixit

MadhuriMadhuri dixit, a well-known Indian actress, is most well known for her roles as Beta, Saajan, and Hum Aapke Hain Koun ..!'. She began her career in the 1980s and gained acclaim for her performance in the film "Tezaab" where she starred alongside Anil Kapoor, an experienced actor. Then, she appeared in the movie 'Dil' in which she co-starred with Aamir Khan. She was born in Mumbai by an upper-middle class family. As a child she began learning to dance. She tried her hand at acting as a teenager but it wasn't easy. Most of her first films failed. Her career eventually took off and she became one of the leading actresses in the Indian film industry. After her wedding she took a short time away from acting, before returning to the entertainment field. In the past, she had a major role in the movie "Gulaab Gang", which was about the challenges and triumphs of women from India. Dixit was nominated 15 times for Filmfare Awards. Eight of these awards she won. The actress was also awarded the Padma Shri award, India's fourth highest civilian award. She is known for her work in the field of social service in addition to her work with the social sector.
