Awkwafina
American musician and actor Awkwafina made her debut with humorous hip-hop tracks that addressed racial identity and sexuality with an incisive and humorous perspective, before increasing her presence in Hollywood. Nora Lum began her musical path as a trumpeter. Her birthplace was Forest Hills Queens, she was a child of Chinese immigrants as well as Koreans. In the following years, she took up the classical and hip-hop genres. In her schooling, she specialized in the field of journalism as well as women's studies. She studied Mandarin during a time in Beijing. Her focus shifted towards music after she finished her studies. Her track My Vag which was her response to the Mickey Avalon song My Dick, became a huge hit via the Internet and later appeared on her debut LP Yellow Ranger. This album also featured viral hits such as the body-positive Queef or the winking city tour the city of New York Bitche$. This latter song was directly tied to Awkwafina's NYC, a 2015 travel guide. The singer decided to make acting careers following the completion of her previous two endeavors, author and musician. Alongside early TV shows that included Girl Code and Tawk - she appeared in movies Neighbors 2 Storks & Bad Rap. She had a breakthrough role in the year 2018, with several high profile films, including Dude Ocean's 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. Then in June, she launched the EP in Fina We Trust.
